8 of 15Don't buy until it's fixed. The game crashes, and then when you try to reload the saved game, the file is corrupted.
Not just freezes, but certain chains of events in the game stop it so you can't finish. For example if you get a feud card and the opponent only has 2 buildings, it waits for you to select 3 when only 2 exists. Boom game over, you can't even finish.
This game would be perfect if they would just fix the bugs it has. It crashes often and you'll lose all you've done. I'd say it happens 1:3 games. Please please update and fix the problems so we can enjoy! For a paid app I would expect more.
Great game and the first time I've played this Catan edition... Tutorial wasn't the greatest and took a while for me to catch all the nuances from the regular Catan to this, but once I did I really enjoyed it.

There are multiple bugs, the game has frozen and crashed on me a few times, and errors have ended my games before they're complete. That's been super frustrating.
Love the game but so difficult playing with so many bugs!
Please fix this game can not continue, error pops up all the time . Love playing it ,but frustrating when you lose your game !!!
Great game, but like so many have stated about the bugs and crashes, there are just too many. What's pathetic is that most of these are simple fixes. No updates since August 2014?!?!?
I'm writing a review hoping USM reads them and addresses these issues. If they do, I'll update the stars and review.

My wife and I love to play the tabletop Rivals for Catan game and downloaded the app for those times when we just don't feel like setting up the full tabletop version. It doesn't disappoint! The gameplay is easy to figure out and mirrors the mechanics of the actual game nicely. While the bugs are definitely less that USM's Catan game, there are a few major ones...

The dice rolls seem to favor the blue player. Hard to prove but if you are red, your resource numbers do not seem to get the balanced randomness that the blue player gets.

When you build an expansion and the game is charging you resources, do not try and build another resource until the charging is complete. Building before it's done will result in the game locking up. Not such a big deal when playing against the AI, you can force quit and resume. But when you are playing against a real person, you do not get the ability to rejoin. See next issue.

In multiplayer mode, there is no option to rejoin a game in progress. This means you cannot exit the game at all. Don't set it aside and hope to resume tomorrow. With a major bug like the above, it can be very frustrating to lose any progress you may have and have to start over. After a couple of these events it actually becomes less time consuming to set up the tabletop version and play that.

At the start of the game, it doesn't properly recognize Player 1's name. You get some weird name...
