Arc Search

Coming from Google Search which drained my battery too quickly, I switched to Google with Arc Search and overall I have gotten better results with my phone battery. However over time, I have noticed that this app has gotten worse. Sometimes the curser in the search bar disappears when I am searching something. This makes it frustrating to move the typing indicator when editing text in the search bar and when you can’t even see it. This app has gotten much slower over time too. I feel like it has gotten harder and harder to find a fast browser. JavaScript purging is slow as molasses on Arc, even reloading Wiki can sometimes take 10-15 seconds even with perfect low Wi-Fi latency and fast speed. Wiki is a lightweight website and on a modern iPhone 17 Pro with a A19 Pro processor, it should only take less than half a second. I never understood why server lag has gotten worse on so many browsers lately too which contributes to this slow speed. The app also crashes sometimes when I multitask or search something too quickly. Overall, while I loved Arc at the beginning, I feel like it has lost its charm overtime with these bugs and slow performance and I hope it gets fixed.
