8 of 15After buying this app and enjoying earlier versions, the developer has turned into a non-functional, permanent ad for a upgrade to the pro version which is only a vehicle for way over-priced in-app purchases. I don't find it functionally better than its competitors, so... Ugh. Runaway. Deleting now.
Shows stars, constellations, & satellites well
It's kinda cool to be able to track the stars, planets and moon. But there is a bit of a gap between versions, v1 was better. I'll keep using v2, hopefully the next release is better and FREE.
The developers latest version of this app will hound you constantly to upgrade to their next version. This notification pops up every 10 seconds and is abusive-- despite the fact that I'm using the paid version. Wouldn't spend another dime
Devs intentionally downgraded NS2 so you would buy NS3, this reveals the dishonesty of the developers. iCandy apps lost all credibility.
This app used to be good but now it never calibrated correctly and has way to many annoying pop ups. It also hasn't been updated for the iPhone plus.
Between the bad calibration and the constant begging of buying the Pro version, this app is not worth buying. And no comets are on the app even though they are listed in it when searching for objects. If you are searching for a good stargazing app I recommend you find a different company to go with.
The calibration is really off, up to ninety degrees! Says I'm looking west when I'm looking north. Reset and then says west when looking south. Plus, it constantly interrupts with a notification to upgrade to Night Sky Pro (which has terrible reviews, too). Really, really irritated after just a half hour of using this app. What a waste because I used Night Sky (previous version) and it was great!
