I think this is the app for the replacement of google Since google is planning on using full on ai, now obviously because of nestle,ai and Global warming i decided to use this app!

I started using Ecosia because of Google’s move to AI only, however it seems like you really want to push AI on us too. I disabled AI overview, I chose the option to completely leave AI out of my searches, then just now I tried to search something and some AI Chat feature popped up. I don’t want AI, period! Disabling AI should mean it is completely disabled snd not snuck into our searches in other ways.

I had this app for a year and honestly nothing seems unusual just an amazing app helped me get my help out there without the need to donate anything, however I seen the many complaints about the app adding “AI” I get the feeling I do. Came for a better experience and version for the environment to have a positive impact then not, but for their AI it is renewable energy/ resources it explains it throughly under the search engine. I would get it if it was wasting water but they’re not, give them some credit with everything they’re doing for the environment experimenting a better outcome. I just wish some of you would think more than just “leaving the app” after their ai feature, best part you can turn it off..overall this app is doing more good then have of the people in power whom should be doing good than bad it’s a great app to get your answers but also a great platform to help when you want. Loved this app and engine, used it everyday but out of nowhere it disappeared and it now says it’s 17+ which is weird af??? I’m 16 and I can’t use a search engine?? What’s wrong with being 16 now
