8 of 25Love this app. Just a click and I know whether to go to my telescope or not. It’s useful even in daytime hours since I like to test my GoTo scope to see if I’m being blessed with a sky clear enough to spot Mercury, a real test of clear skies.
App reporting excellent conditions… yet I go outside and see clouds all over… not the only app… not sure where the app gets their data but it is not too accurate
It would be great to have some useful widgets from this app.
Beware. This is NOT the excellent Heavens-Above program that tracks ISS and other satellites. I had to pay to download and find out. Don’t be fooled by the similar name.<br/><br/>This program is simply reports viewing conditions for looking at the sky. It’s unclear why one would need a computer for that.

Really good info
I have been using this app for years to determine if nights are even worth chasing the northern lights. This app has been very accurate for many years and I don’t know if it’s with the recent iOS 18 update or what… but now my phone will no longer load my location. And yes, my location is turned on for this app. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no success.
Needs a real time 3rd person view of our current solar system at the very least.
