Pro Camera 18.3

by Retired_Marine_30_4 · June 22, 2026

I’ve been a loyal ProCamera user since its early days on the App Store, and with every major release it continues to raise the bar. I have purchased nearly every premium add-on, including RAW Exposure Bracketing, Auto Perspective Correction, Private Lightbox, the San Fran Filter Pack, Food Filter Pack, Low Light Plus, and vividHDR. Every one of these features has been worth the investment.

With ProCamera 18.3 running on my iPhone, I can confidently leave my DSLR at home for most trips. The image quality, manual controls, RAW capture, HDR capabilities, and low-light performance are simply outstanding. The app gives you professional-level control while remaining intuitive and reliable.

One feature that has been especially valuable for my real estate photography is Auto Perspective Correction. It quickly fixes distorted vertical lines with a single tap, producing clean, professional-looking images without extra editing. It has become an essential part of my workflow.

The developers deserve tremendous credit for continually improving an already exceptional app instead of simply maintaining it. Every update brings meaningful enhancements, improved performance, and new capabilities that make photography even more enjoyable.

If you’re serious about mobile photography, ProCamera 18.3 is, in my opinion, the gold standard on the App Store. Whether you’re a casual photographer, a content creator, or a professional, this app delivers results that consistently exceed expectations.

If I could give it more than five stars, I absolutely would. Highly recommended!

Had to uninstall

I gave it limited access to my library, and it kept insisting on asking for permission to my whole entire library… For what?… The drawing line for me was when I tried to take a picture, but I wouldn’t save my picture and I’m on the go so I couldn’t get the picture again because it kept asking me for permission to access my whole entire library… For what? You should not need access to my whole entire library when I’m just shooting one photo just save the photo.

Best photo app for iPhone!

by musicmkr75 · July 1, 2026

THE BEST!!! First I’ve been using this app since the iPhone 4S now on my iPhone 13 Pro Max still the best - Photo quality choices, choices, choose TIFF etc. Photo, Video, HDR, Night mode, Q scanner, Builtin editing, filters & more. Crop W/built-in sizes, flip horizontal, straighten. Flashlight with different brightness setting's, choice of App library or iPhone Photo library. Choice whether or not to keep photos or delete later right from the app! Shooting in HDR automatically keeps both HDR & regular photos or just HDR when editing photos keeps original image I think this is the best photo app I've used on my iPhone 6 or 4s & I do believe I had the previous version/app on my 3Gs? It's still the best & running great on my iPhone 13 running iOS 18.4 but you will have to learn how to use it! There are a lot of options although you can make it simple or use it as an expert in (expert mode) which is still easy once you get the hang of it. I think using the previous version helped me to move to the newer versions. Best of luck...

Many problems

by AJSalamon · June 27, 2026

I prefer the interface capabilities compared to the stock Apple app, but it has a lot of problems. The camera is often very slow to start up and freezes or shows a black screen for 10 seconds, and often the side button won’t work to take photos or start/stop videos. Sometimes I take videos and they never even save. If I were a professional depending on this app, I would absolutely avoid. If they would fix all the problems it would be a 5 star app, but right now it’s more annoying and causes too many problems for me to use anymore.

Manual focus results in blur

by Ggtr27 · June 30, 2026

The sole reason I wanted this app for was so I could set focus to infinity when taking pictures through glass etc. However, when I set focus to infinity (while leaving all other settings on auto), the pictures come out unusably blurry

Changing the model 👎

Used to be the bomb. Now taking functionality away that used to be included, like perspective control and cropping. Everything going to a subscription model-adios.

Great app
