Too much drama

Good game but the drama of the animated figure is inappropriate.

King of pop ups!

by Allnames taken · March 5, 2018

I played Tiger Woods 12 for years and enjoyed it thoroughly. My joy turned to dismay when it was left to orphan out with zero support and I could no longer play it with my OS upgrades. I found this game, and even with the paucity of direction I was able to play it, and the game mechanics are similar to TW12. Bravo. The downside??? After each individual challenge comes a timed popup ad. EVERY TIME. This game shouldn’t be called king of the course, but KING OF THE POPUPS!<br/>Even though i turn off music and effects, silence your phone! Some of the ads have loud audio. I will tinker with this until the ads finally annoy me away. Oh well...

Great game

Great game

Freemium junk

by EWonApple · May 28, 2018

Tiger Woods 12 was great, then it got freemium’d up and became impossible. Now the official PGA game is this hunk of junk. It would be nice to have a legitimate golf game on mobile again, but EA just makes garbage these days. I can’t believe EA’s customers/suckers don’t realize that this is just another pay to win “game” with a golf theme. Oh well. Maybe a better company will be able to acquire the PGA license in the future. Probably not, but here’s hoping...

Money Grab, Otherwise not bad

by njzeus · May 28, 2018

The game starts out great - nice graphics and gameplay, simple pick-up-and-play design. Unfortunately, it’s no coincidence that the “Rate this app now” message comes up so early. Once you advance to a certain point (20-30 “events” or challenges), it becomes substantially more difficult to complete the level, your limited number of golf balls is exhausted, and you have to wait to earn more (20 minutes per ball) or pay real $$$. Since these advanced levels can take you four or five times to get the distance/spin/swing correct, it almost becomes standard to run out of your 5 golf balls (= 5 event tries) each time. After seeing what EA has done to Madden Mobile in shifting it towards a money grab, I guess that has become the norm now for their stuff. This one can still be somewhat enjoyable if you don’t mind the game dictating when you can play, or just paying to play, but it could be less egregious.

App is broken

I can’t invite my Facebook friends, the button doesn’t respond. Please fix this and I’ll fix my review.

Needs much improvement

by Mr. Thunder Pants · March 5, 2018

As you get higher in levels, the game physics go out out the window. Shots that should back spin or run end up staying in one spot. Wind speeds are not predictable and what they do to the ball is never consistent. Putt reading is absolutely impossible!!! Fix this game EA!!!

Don’t bother

I’d rather waste my phone storage on cat pictures instead of this game.
