But

This is a really good game with great graphics, then it has problems.
The battle for Lenningrad does not allow you to use reinforcements or even pull up the pull-up. Since there is no manual or tutorial you have no way of knowing where the problem is or if it's supposed to do that?

Not worth it

I save 1 star ratings for apps that are broken.

This one needs a much better tutorial and better balancing of German and Soviet forces.

Better then Panzer general

There is such a demand for games like this and yet the developers stuck with the old worn out hex games instead of enhancing this. I am asking the developer to fix the problems, expand the game. This developer has several so-so games because they keep using the engine they use for the civil war games, Romans, Hannibal and others which are all me to games. This engine is better and smoother. The previous game based on d-day could also be updated and included. This could easily be a 5 star.
PREVIOUS REVIEW This is a great game but could use a few more units. Also, there is at least 3 scenarios where you meet all three objectives but it says you missed one. Finally, I have played all three campaigns and we could use a fourth or the ability to play as the Allies. Too bad the developer has pretty much walked away from this engine but still worth a purchase. I knocked it down to 4 stars because the developer has abandoned it and it now has several glitches. Still enjoyable but they are foolish for not fixing and expanding it.

Enjoyable Game

I played through the 12 Scenarios. It’s very much like Panzer General or Panzer Corps which I really enjoy. I didn’t encounter any significant bugs, which was nice... and there is a real ‘blitzkrieg’ element that makes the battles compelling. A solid 4 star game, except that I paid for this game and I’m annoyed to see in game purchase offers on my battle map. Save it for the credits or leave it out. I didn’t pay for in-game marketing!

NOT better than Panzer General....

OK game, but not as sophisticated as the panzer general series or other turn based games where, for instance specific units can last
throughout the campaign, gaining experience and upgrades. There is also no defensive artillery support or fighter escort defense to speak of.
It’s a pretty basic game, but still fun.

The AI is weak, even at the toughest setting.

Great war game

It is a fun and addictive war game - it is very good to kill some time when commuting.

Nice But

The game does not let you attack Moscow ! Even if you win all the battles there is no attacking Moscow.
