8 of 25Recent update deleted 120gb of downloaded music and now won’t download anything. This isn’t the first time I’ve had reliability issues. Bluetooth and playback have been intermittently working among multiple devices over the last few updates. I don’t recommend tidal.

great alternative to the demonic spotify. although, every time I open the app i’m prompted to rate it, which is getting quite annoying
I absolutely love Tidal. 1 1/2 years ago I switched from Spotify. I was tired of the loss in quality of playlists, the audio quality, and the rate they payed their artists. Tidal has none of those issues. Audio quality is noticeably better, the playlists much better gauge what I enjoy to listen to, and they support small artists and pay much better. <br/>My issues are minimal and fixable, mostly comes down to app performance. It will stutter and load a song until I restart the app, CarPlay will start a playlist but when I enter the app on my phone it will treat it as if nothing has been playing. Nothing too big. Just fixable things that are keeping it from being perfect. <br/><br/>Overall, I say make the switch if you are in the fence. It’s refreshing to not only stop supporting a greedy company that is investing into AI music without your consent, but supporting artists and providing excellent audio quality
