8 of 15Really? Can't get past second battle. Absurdly unfair odds. AI always wins. Otherwise it would be awesome. I don't mind a challenge, but this is just stupid.

Update:
Wait wait. It gets better. I try again, because I really enjoy tactics games and I want to be able to like this game. I finally start to get a slight advantage over the opponent. What does the AI do? It plays a defensive Lore that, after at least 6x replaying this same battle, I've never seen before: "move your opponents forces at random." Random my foot! It moved only the units that had Lore buffs and were about to defeat some enemies. I call SHENANIGANS!

Update:
Played two more rounds since last update and... Drum roll... FINALLY vanquished the enemy. My trick: always double up your units to support each other and pin the enemy as much as possible. You get much more successful rolls when the enemy is pinned.

The difficulty level is pretty high in this game, but I kept going back for more. I guess I like the abuse.
I’m really enjoying this game so far - just finished the campaign. A couple of ideas to make it even better: Add a new campaign or make the current one longer ;-) Please add an ‘undo’ button for things like moving units or choosing a target unit when playing a lore card.
Btw, for those considering getting this game, some people mentioned the dice being skewed - I for one think that they’re most probably blaming the dice for something which is in fact a lack of tactical skill... the dice are just fine.
I’m wondering if you can still play this game online?
I love tabletop war games and Fantasy Flight, so I love this app. People complaining about the game taking too long are clearly looking for a different kind of app. For iOS games it takes a long time, but for board game lovers it's what you'd expect. The balance didn't bother me, as the AI isn't the best, so it seems fair that it would have certain advantages. It's funny to me that some people think it's too hard to beat. Again, they're probably not tabletop dice game fans, as this is part of the experience for me. When so many games are dumbed-down these days, I like the potential to lose and refine my strategy. I beat the game the day I got it and continue to play. It's too bad no one plays online, but solo gamers can play both sides or the AI. I'm hoping for more content to be released!
This game could be perfect but the enemy "rolls" are far superior. I've gone 3 rounds in a row with all misses. So maybe it's just my luck but seems it's very favored to the bad guys in an unrealistic way. Other than that the style and strategy are awesome.
Darksouls level of challenge. You will be engaged and mentally stimulated.

An excellent game. I’m glad it’s still here on iOS! Worth the price and some.

Features:
• Excellent campaign w/ voice acting & art
• Online PvP
• Player vs. Ai
• Hot seat (pass & play)
The game is generally fun to play, but there’s no way to expedite opponents game speed in campaign mode and, without being able to save progress on half-played campaign levels, the game will occasionally turn off forcing to restart from the beginning of the level.
Please update this to 64 bit!
