Everest : Audio Looper

I find it so incredibly frustrating that developers will come up with a good concept, and not follow through. Unit spending money on an application, investing time into learning it’s workflow incorporating it into your own, and then the Dev flakes off. I understand that we all have lives in, we’re all just trying to get by. But it feels like a betrayal. It feels unprofessional. Frankly, I don’t have a lot of money. So if I see an app I like, I wait. I waited to purchase this app because it appeared to be what I was looking for, and really it’s just been a disappointment. Two years since the last update. On the developers website, you can’t even sign up or register for the forum because the developer has let his recapture laps. And that’s time and money I’ll never get back.

Can someone please explain to me why this was created? I don't understand any part of this apps functionality or purpose...

This app has a lot of potential, but it's just too buggy and unreliable. All of your work is lost if you switch between apps, or try to use it with Audiobus.<br/><br/>I really want to like this app, and hope that the developers are able to address these major bugs.

Great update, pitch shifting loopers are the best. I like the unique windowing feature as well. Great update before this, too, that added the pause per track controls, that was all that was missing.<br/><br/>People might complain about not being able to slave the tempo of Everest, or it having ableton link, but one of the nice things about this app is that the audio fidelity is paramount, so it avoids time compression algorithms, which would be necessary to slave it to something else.

I give it one star because I can't give it any less. I just wasted ten dollars on an app that is absolutely pathetic. There is no option to loop specific parts of the recording and it's impossible to sync your loops.

I currently use Loopy HD for live performance, but thought I'd give this a try. It has enormous potential, and its certainly worth picking up—the developer has already show he intends to improve it over time.<br/><br/>The main thing missing for me right now is more flexibility in assigning MIDI foot switch functions to control the app. It provides quite a bit already, but needs more customizable bindings so musicians can adapt the app to suit their performance needs.
