Not toasted Yet

The game is good and so is the music but the mobile controls are just too hard to get used to, and the constant camera moving is annoying.

I hate this game (in a good way)

by globoo99 · February 16, 2025

This game is about you controlling a slice of bread. Your goal? Become toast. The story is delightfully dark, especially since it gets darker the more you progress based on your actions and your actions alone. The story in question is about a guy having his life ruined going insane because we (the bread) have continually broken items in his house, to become toast. It gets so bad that they have to restrain him. I haven’t finished the game yet but I still appreciate the downhill story that doesn’t feel artificially intertwined with the player. The controls feel frustrating and clumsy, so they did a perfect job there. Although sometimes in later levels, I find myself careening off ledges even though I didn’t let go (although that’s probably because of reckless climbing). Navigating through these levels feels like a giant challenge, but sometimes I find it hard not to give in to cheese, which is both easier, and more boring. It feels too easy to sacrifice fun for small accomplishment. Also, the music is some of my favorite. It’s unique, and uses a different genre that most video games to complement the realism of this game. This game just has a lot of charm altogether. Highly recommend. 8.5\10

Extremely Buggy Not Worth the Money

by Bavaq · November 15, 2024

So terribly bug ridden its not worth $5. These developers need a class on game coding for mobile devices. Extremely slow jittery frame rates, crashes, and iPhone 15 pro max gets really hot. A 15 pro max should be able to handle this game. Very poorly coded and not ready for production release.
