There are only a few tape effects available on this platform but so far only this one offers what I need. Excellent sounds and so many options to choose from. Well designed UI and so versatile. ToneBoosters have really designed some high quality effects and at the price offered they are an absolute no-brainer. I’d have paid twice the price for this effect. Well done TB. I’m off to buy the EQ now.

This is my favorite effect of 2019. I now use it on EVERY SINGLE TRACK, as a pre-mastering step in Auria Pro. And the tweakability is incredible. Beautiful sounding when heavy or ‘transparent’.

This is a must have plugin in your toolkit. I use this on every single track, on busses and on the master buss. It just makes your sound better, warmer and sweeter. You won’t regret it. Just get it.

I like the Trouble preset with hiss turned off

ReelBus can nail tape saturation, compression, and the BOC/LoFi wobble better than just about anything else. (Most other “tape” sims in iOS only give you a static wow/LFO in place of random instability.). It’s also great for general tone polishing and master bus “glue”, especially with the SSL style compressor in Auria Pro.<br/><br/>This program is so good that it converted me to using it in Reaper on desktop as well. 5 stars, no question.

These plugins are the real deal. This one in particular can be as subtle or drastic as you want it. And the added tape delay and stop effects are really lovely as well!

I worked with tape in the 70’s and 80’s an audio engineer; AGFA, Ampex mostly, and in 1/4, 1/2, and 2 inch formats 15 and 30ips with Dolby and without. This is a wonderful emulation. Great work.<br/><br/>Saw this demo’d on TheSoundTestRoom
