8 of 25Having multiple calculators that you can use your calculations in is really a cool function. Prevents you from having to have a pad and paper to figure out multiple calculations. Also the colors are just incredible.
The good: Solve provides most of the functionality you would expect from a basic scientific/graphing calculator, with a simple UI that's pleasant to use. It's not the most powerful thing in the world, but it should be sufficient for mathematics at up to a high school-level.

The bad: this calculator app uses raw floating point numbers for calculations rather than an arbitrary precision decimal library, with the result that 100 + .1 equals 100.099999999999994, among other errors. These small inaccuracies compound as you perform more and more operations, which is a problem in particular when calculating things involving dollars and cents.

Using Solve involves a minor but nevertheless existent trade-off between convenience and accuracy, and whether it's still worth using depends on how acceptable this is to you.
I’ve used this calculator for years and I love it, but please update it for iOS 26, just make it easier to swipe in and out of like others have asked for, don’t worry about changing anything else! Do that and give me an option to tip. I would gladly pay for this app again after all these years!
Simple, no nonsense calculation! Love it!
This is my preferred calculator for iOS because it’s very convenient to have have multiple calculator pages with values that you can store and use later. Unfortunately it has a very frustrating quirk where you have to swipe up from the bottom of the screen twice to exit the app or switch between apps. This makes the app unusable when I need to do some quick calculations while switching back and forth from another app. The only other apps I have seen this happen with are games where you might accidentally swipe up near the bottom of the screen by accident, but I don’t think that is an issue for a calculator, so I’m not sure why it happens here.
Easy to use, great app!
This calculator works very well for typical calculations. It is very easy to use and has capabilities that range from basic calculations to using it as a graphing calculator.
This app is amazing its helps with my math problems and its just great!😀
