8 of 25Really awesome app. But there hasn't been an update for one and a half years. Especially with the new iOS 5 this app could be so much cooler. Therefore no recommendation.
It's pretty rare to find a jewel in the App store, but this one qualifies as a rare jewel. The range of features like sliders, smart inputs, animation, 3d graphing demonstrate the depth of the application's capabilities, along with its speed show coding on the highest level of any app I've seen in the app store to date. Excellent job, folks! Anyone needing a graphing calculator that works as well as any I've seen on PC or Mac, this is your choice. A bargain at even $10.
Rather than maintain this app they have relaunched it with a new name MathStudio with exactly the same functionality but now you have to pay once again to get it.<br/><br/>MathStudio was updated November 21, 2011 in contrast with this app in July 2011.<br/><br/>I recommend all users to give them 1 STAR the lowest rating possible for this and to complain to the AppStore as well.
I paid $19.99 for the iPhone app.<br/><br/>I paid $19.99 for the iPad app since they didn't make it universal, only to discover they basically added no additional functionality on top of the iPhone version.<br/><br/>They finally update the app, and they launch it as a new app so that I need to pay another $19.99.<br/><br/>They should be booted from the app store for these practices.
This is a very powerful Computer Algebra System. The output is somewhat limited, I would like to have multiple line output for data. Also, not really a complaint, but arbitrary precision arithmetic would be nice too. That shortfall is the only reason I keep PocketCAS around. Overall, excellent! The best on the market with continual improvements.
As others have mentioned here, he really has ripped off the buyers of SpaceTime. Who knows if he'll change the name of his product again in a year or so so ripoff his customers once again. Too bad Apple and the App store foster this sort of behavior.
Best app of this kind, it is the only one which has time as a variable, I have never seen my graphs as a function of time moving in actual time, I have formed wave packets that evolve over time. <br/><br/>Pretty cool app but needs more precision, a have not been able to draw Plank's Radiation Curve with actual units.
Love this app! One thing I would like to see is the ability to copy my answers to the clipboard.<br/><br/>Also, there is one bug I saw, which is not an issue. Its in the tutorial. I'm assuming the creators of this app are mathematical types who would prefer their software operate perfectly. In the guided tutorials, when asked to hit the abc button, I would follow the highlights and enter the appropriate value on that screen, but when I needed to return to the original screen to complete the calculation, the tutorial would highlight the clear button, not the return button. I doubt this has caused anyone a real problem, if the creators fix it, it will just be for personal satisfaction on their parts. Wonderful app!
