Free Memory Lite

I was also somewhat sceptic after reading the negative reviews but decided to give it a try since I didn't have any better alternatives. To my big surprise I found that this app actually works. I have the 3G with the IOS4 upgrade. After starting the app it increased my available memory from 2.8 to over 32 MB without having to press any buttons within 10 seconds. This was a great ROI for me!

I have this both on my iPhone 4 and iPad 3G... Both free up a decent amount of memory. Too bad my phone has double the memory of my iPad. LOL.

I miss the "free" buttons. Can't tell when it's done doing it's thing. Had to buy this again after buying the old one. How much will I have to pay for the full version??

After reading the reviews I held off on buying this. BIG mistake! I finally picked it up, opened the program, and watched as my memory climbed from 2mb free to over 40. This is not just a monitor, it just doesn't have a button any more. Best 99 cents I've spent on the iPhone. Period.

I owned the original since the beginning of the app store. Has been a great app but was recently killed with iOS4. Downloaded this after reading reviews that it works and yes it does, much better than the original too. This does free up memory and as soon as you launch it too. Don't have to click free memory or anything. It's simple, easy and extremely fast. Thanks Recession Apps!

I had system monitor , and with ios4 the. Free Memory Function quit .. I have a 3gS and this app does free memory as promised .. Apple should update the OS so I can use all this disk memory I have with the 3GS and make some of it as virtual memory which would help us all out .. Anyway for the time being this app works best for freeing memory , look forward to Full version...one issue tho when you use the app the keyboard clicks stop working and the unlock sound stops working also ..plz fix this in full version...

The reviewers giving this multiple stars are obviously friends or employed by the developer. I watched for 20 sec, a minute, 5 minutes - nothing! Save your dollar - go buy some gum - you'll get more productivity than from this app!

DO NOT listen to the negative rants!!! This app works BETTER than the original. It frees up memory FASTER than it used to on iOS3. They just can't *tell you* it's freeing memory! Give them a break!<br/><br/>Keep in mind that Apple had removed ALL apps of this kind some time ago. The first FreeMemory can't be updated because it's been banned by Apple.<br/><br/>I know this works because I could sit and watch the old app try to do it's thing and fail, or just watch my RAM drop and drop to UNDER 2MB. Pre-iOS4 didn't do that.<br/><br/>With the new app, just sit and watch as your RAM goes back to DOUBLE DIGITS again!!! NO MORE REBOOTING!!!!!!!!! WELL worth a buck!<br/><br/>BUY THIS BEFORE APPLE FIGURES IT OUT AND BANS IT!!!!!!!
