Detectives ROCK😏

Next to LA Noir this is the best detective game ever. The levels were challenging, never glitched, liked the comic book idea!👍👍👍👌👌🙏

Lots of glitches but fun

Kept closing on me @ the lock behind the dresser in the hotel room, mini games weren't that fun either & when I needed hints they weren't available. Don't pay full price but when on sale for $1-2 then go for it!

Annoying for bugs and lack of features

The graphics and the story are fine. There are too many places where you get caught in a puzzle or action without instructions. Can't use hints and the skip option is non responsive. On fact if one goes to options/help there is only very basic controls, tells you to go to forums for help. Then you can't exit the help screens w.o. Killing the program. This is getting deleted.

Unhappy

Paid for the game and it only had a few levels. Not worth it. Don't pay for this!

Really short

I got this game way back in the day when it was 5 bucks. Totally not worth it and I'm not sure if it's worth $2 because it is extremely short. It's got fun puzzles but the whole game is over in an hour or two. It's no fun to play more than once so it's up to you to decide whether an hour's entertainment is worth the $2. Oh and it also crashed pretty often

Fun

Artwork is awesome. The storyline very good. The puzzles are challenging. Good game.

Who dunnit only partially solved

Fun and challenging but leads right into a sequel for the next Nick Chase game. Oh well, I am always up for another challenge. I am only giving it 4 stars because the screen would not rotate for this game. I had to spin my iPad2 upside down to play the game.

Great graphics, same boring cookie cutter gameplay formula.

This is the 2nd game I've bought from Big Fish. I've tried a few demos as well. It's the exact same formula nearly every time. Mostly simple puzzles that string together a story; find the various objects in a scene; little explanation; little creativity in the gameplay.

The artwork is fantastic, but I wish they would improve the gameplay. It feels like an insult to the artwork. Classics like Deja Vu and Myst really make you think. Machinarium is a great example of how to do an adventure puzzle game for the iOS environment.

I bought the iPhone version, saved myself 3 bucks, and played it on the iPad. And when it ended way too soon, like most of their games, I didn't feel so cheated.
