AIM for iPad: Free SMS, Chat, Group Chat, Voice Messages

New version has ads running across top of screen when trying to chat. New problem is...unable to scroll down to read most recent comments/conversation. Older version was much better!!

Since my IPad Air updated to ios8 the IMs re no longer instant. There are huge delays in receiving them, in some cases several hours even though it always connected to wifi.<br/><br/>Just clicked the App Support link and got nowhere. I didn't realize Aol is Doa.<br/><br/>Had to laugh at the last update that &quot;fixed&quot; issues with long messages. All they did was put a limit of 58 characters! Great fix guys!

Please update the iPad app for iOS 8.

I have using aim for my desktop for quite a few years now. I haven't used in a while lately, but I using again on my iPad to contact friends on tumblr. I love it. There are flaw, but I still love it.

I'd used Aim for many, many years. When I needed a means to message friends and family from my iPad to non-Apple phone users, Aim was the answer!

I'd rather pay a small price to get an app without ads and which actually works.

This app is horrible. When you flip your iPad sideways to type easier (yeah, right), the entire keyboard and input functions go straight to $@&amp;!. The ads are glaring, annoying, and ugly. It's hard to even message your friends a good 90% of the time on this thing. I'd say to just use Skype for those international friends rather not than use AIM! I wouldn't recommend this app to anybody, not even if it were someone I hate. That's just how bad this is!
