Loses subscription

by GuyFewkes · December 26, 2025

This app keeps losing my subscription. When I “restore” my purchases, it acknowledges “purchases restored “ but I still can’t access the issues.

Needs more than just the magazines

by primehunter326 · March 11, 2026

This app’s functionality is extremely limited. You’d expect to be able to view and read stories as presented on the website, but you cannot. You can only view and download digitized versions of the print magazines. Other publications which use the same app framework for their mobile experience do this. I expect better from a tech publication, especially one i pay for.

Won’t update with most recent issue

by Automanpdx · July 12, 2026

Now won’t show most recent issue. Shows all past issues. It says I have an active subscription and I have linked the print version to the subscription. Was working fine for years but now broken. Have tried logging out and back in, uninstalling app and reinstalling. Nothing works!

Surprisingly Lowest tech for a magazine focused on tech

by Fanto Mette · January 3, 2026

Really surprised that the app only allows to download a pdf of the magazine. That is not functional to read articles on a phone. Now I only log through the web.<br/>Very surprising for a magazine focused on tech, that they have not figured out a way to deliver content through various media.

Great content, terrible app

by boilermaker2001 · October 12, 2025

I subscribe to 10 different new publications and have apps for all of them. Wired’s content is fantastic. The app is the absolute worst of all of them. It’s not even close.

I thought Wired was a frontrunner in tech

by SC_1000 · December 28, 2025

This app makes me question my decision to get a subscription in the first place. This is supposed to be a go-to for tech news, yet you have to “link” your print subscription by jumping through multiple sketchy and confusing sign-in loops, just to get access to a PDF? <br/><br/>Y’all, why did you even bother with this?

Can’t use the App unless you agree to it to share your information

by TNIF2 · July 5, 2026

I purchased a 1 year subscription and decided to download this App. I went to sign in (hoping to be given an option to set up an account), but instead I got a pop up that read, “Wired Wants to Use ‘I’d.condenast.com’ to Sign In This allows the app and website to share information about you”. <br/>WTH? I couldn’t get past that pop up and there was no other way to set my new account so that I could use the App! What is wrong with these people??? Is everything - even WIRED - now a Grift?? So low class of them. Furious!

It’s like having a pdf of hard copy

by Zarafa · June 21, 2026

Why is this app so clunky? All you get is pictures of the hard copy. Meanwhile, as a subscriber I’m getting paywalled out of articles linked from social media. Why subscribe?
