Paprika Recipe Manager for iPhone

I've had this app for a long time, through many different phones. It has remained a stable reliable recipe manager all that time. Recipe capture from the web has continued to improve. I haven't run into a recipe in awhile that it couldn't capture. It's awesome at scaling recipes, and making a shopping list for ingredients. It's absolutely perfect and well worth the money.

I love this app and have used it for years to collect all of my favorite recipes. This negative review is more about the shady business practices of the developer. All of a sudden, I can’t even open the app. I get a message stating that the developer needs to update the app to work with the latest IOS. When is that going to happen? I also see that there is a newer version called Paprika 3, which seems to have been kept up to date. Why do I have to pay again to get another iteration of an app that I have already purchased? And if I purchase this other version of your app, I assume I will lose all of the recipes that I have painstakingly collected over the years.

This was an excellent App until iOS upgrade.<br/>Now it is a brick. Years of recipes and notes gone. You could have warned us.<br/> Shame on you!

I absolutely loved this app but now with the new iOS update I can't even open the app because the developer needs to update it. Also I'm still getting charged for it??? Not cool.

I cannot live without this app! It is amazing! Love that I can create my own recipes and easily copy in recipes from websites and blogs. Unfortunately, the latest OS update from Apple has made it incompatible and I can no longer access my favorite recipes. Please update ASAP so I can get my recipes back!

I paid $20 for this app and now it won’t open and all my recipes are in there and I can’t access them. It is saying the app needs to be updated because my phone got a new update. Stop holding my recipes hostage you blackmailers.

Stopped working without warning with the latest iOS update. Any chance of a tiny update to make it work again? I promise to buy the new version as soon as I can export all my recipes from the old one.

I hate it when a developer upgrades an app and makes it more difficult to use. Pretty much defeats the purpose of an upgrade. You used to be able to go into your grocery list and tap on the microphone and say an item and hit return and hit the microphone again and keep repeating the process to add items. But now in the latest version, the keyboard disappears so you can’t hit return. Instead you have to tap on the keyboard icon to get the keyboard back which adds another step to the process. Please put this back the way it was.
