Still Very Good

by Elian Gonzales · March 27, 2024

This remains an excellent tool to use, though I tend to be worried about its future on iPadOS. I hope the developers will keep an iteration of it. The only big request I would make is the ability to make the editing code type larger.

SFTP, HTML, CSS - Fast and Easy.

Coda makes it simple and efficient for me to make regular updates to various websites.<br/>From complete control of server access configuration, to complete control of files being worked on, staged, and published, Coda gives a web designer complete flexibility with a functional and intuitive file manager, code editor and secure file transfer.<br/>What used to require multiple applications on a desktop computer, now is consolidated into a single app on my phone.<br/>Very well designed and implemented interface, responsive support. Well worth the price. I wasted too much time trying to do these tasks using free apps and web based resources. Purchasing this software was a good decision and significantly improved y productivity.

So great for coding on the go.

It may see odd to code on a phone, but it can be super handy in emergencies or even just to play around with an idea.

Bring it back

It is sad to see it go. Please bring it back

No Local Files

by Mike199 · November 4, 2020

As of November 4, 2020, this app cannot handle files stored locally on an iPad. If you need to work with local files, buy Textastic for $10 instead of spending $25 on this app. Am looking forward to the day when Panic addresses this ridiculous shortcoming so my $25 won’t have been wasted.

Terrible

This thing is still charging money to not work. Don’t buy it.

I really like it (but!)

Love this company as a whole, I think they make fantastic applications for developers. Code Editor for iOS is no different, featuring that classic Panic polish, and an extremely intuitive interface that does not come at the expense of power and flexibility. Docking one star because of the current limitation on importing / mounting iCloud Drive. Hoping that feature can come to Code Editor sooner rather than later, and that I don’t have to wait until the eventual Nova for iOS drop. <br/><br/>Though i will probably buy that day one :)

bought the product but

it is emmet less and zen coding not available if you can patch that quickly that would be great. 25 bucks you will expect the feature to be included. Common we are in the 21st century we need this.
