That said on recent versions I have seen issues with the app. Freezing etc and having to close it out manually and open again.<br/><br/>I hope the dev is able to give an update.

This used to be the best ssh “app” for iOS. I’m sure it’s entirely Apple pulling some Behind Scenes shenanigans causing the now unusability, but it’s useless now. Locks up. Slow to connect if ever. Drops connection within seconds. It’s gonna drive me to Android! Juice SSH is awesome! Way to go Apple. Screw your devs—screw your customers.

It's a great app. Don't ask me to review it. I'll give you 1 star by doing so.

Especially on an iPad with a Bluetooth keyboard, I can effectively use my Linux server anywhere I go. No more getting up from the couch to troubleshoot Plex! No more having to reboot my steam deck into desktop mode when I need to install stuff or manage settings!

Prompt is the absolute best ssh client for IOS. Panic is one of the old school Apple indie developers of very high quality software and this app is no different. It’s a fantastic app that easily lets me log into my Linux servers anywhere I have a cell connection. Absolutely top notch.

The best terminal / command line utility on iOS / iPad OS

This was a fantastic app that really didn't need any more features added to it; just regular maintenance for compatibility. Prompt 2 suffers from a bug on newer iOS versions where switching apps will render the terminal unusable, by cutting off anything below wherever the terminal view would fall with the keyboard enabled. Unfortunately, Panic won't fix that for its paying users, because they want you to pay them again, for what amounts to the same basic product.<br/><br/>I must admit that purchasing Prompt 2, only for it to be replaced by Prompt 3 (in fairly short order, and as a fully paid upgrade) made me swear off purchasing Prompt 3. I have used and trusted Panic's software for decades now, but no longer: this is no way to treat paying users. I honestly expected better from Panic.

Prompt is having problems with screen size when you switch off and then back to prompt. That makes using vi difficult.<br/><br/>Having said that, I got a quick reply when I wrote to the authors. Hopefully, it will be fixed soon.
