8 of 15I enjoyed replaying this game. Unfortunately there was one critical game play error. The first time I encountered Atrus, he said to come to D’ni right away, without giving his lengthy explanation, and most importantly, without the missing white page. Other than that everything worked fine, but I had to knock it down to 3 stars since that is such an important game failure.
I can’t see out the window of the tower above the library. I was able to move the line on the map and hear a whirring noise indicating that the tower moved to a new position but still the windows are not open. Don’t think I’ll see a refund. Bummed
But like, wheres johnG and the jacuzzi?
Anyone else having issues trying to airplay the game over Apple TV? Keeps shutting down.
Looking forward to playing an old childhood favorite. But there is no sound. I see some similar reviews. I recall sound being one of and best aspects.
And….I got stuck frequently. I had to use online walkthroughs to make it through the whole game. I prefer games that at least give you hints so you don’t have to go online and fine the whole answer. I always wanted to play this since I first saw it back in 1993 and couldn’t figure out what to do back then lol. I didn’t grow up with PC games so maybe thats a disadvantage to figuring this one out.

I’ve played a lot of puzzle games and highly recommend the Forever Lost series! (Actually all their games are great) I also enjoyed Midnight Girl.
I bought this for the music and ambience that I remember when I was younger. Unfortunately there was no sound, even after re installing. The movement mechanics are horrifically impossible to control, manipulating anything is a nightmare while attempting to flip a switch etc but you cant because you are not in that minuscule area that will allow you to interact with it. No sound, no water, no music etc and most importantly no settings to attempt to fix it. Waste of 6$ to get an app that should be error free after all these years, and the coup de grâce? (french for that last bit that pisses you off) no support with the app support link.
They did a good job putting it on iOS, worth the money!
