8 of 15If your like me and have a tiered data plan that your constantly maxing out then this is the perfect app to help avoid overage charges.
Its very nice.
Does exactly what it says, unobtrusively & accurately. I use almost all my 5 GB a month and this makes sure I meter it just so. Developer has a long history of improvements & keeping up with iOS updates. Worth it if you tend to use a lot of data & don't want to go over your limit.
I would have given it 5 stars, and I will as soon as it can show individual app data usage. I can narrow things down now, but knowing which apps are the actual hogs is major. Anyway, I love this app so keep up the great work.
Beside the obvious use of monitoring your data usage, shows you how the telecoms monitor your every move. Be afraid, be very afraid!
This is the best data usage app. Period.

Some say why get this app if AT&T alerts you and iOS 7 has it's own data usage? I hate looking up AT&T for usage and being reminded at 65% may already be too late if I'm a week into my cycle. iOS7's data usage is nice but you have to reset usage manually.

Once you get this app, you set it and forget it. Just set up your data limits and bill cycle and it's automated if the app is in the background.

It's able to track data by the hour/day/month and by location. Location can decrease battery life and can be turned off. It can warn you up to 4 times at a specific percentage to your preference. It will reset usage at the end of your billing cycle and you can review previous billing cycles.

DataMan also gives you an estimate on how much data overage/wastage will occur for the billing cycle. If you use too much data early in the billing cycle, DataMan will indicate it with its color coded scheme and show your projected overage.
This is my life line to NOT blowing my data cap each month! One of the primary apps I have on page one of iPhone 5 and ALWAYS running!
This app has been instrumental in helping me keep my data plan in check.
